WHAT I'VE LEARNED AFTER I CHOPPED ALL MY HAIR OFF

It had been while, and finally I just decided to go for it. Yes, I chopped off all the hair I spent years growing out. Over few months ago, I consulted a few close friends of mine about the big change. Most of them said, "Don't you dare! You will regret it. It will look weird on you! What if you don't like it?." Well,  honestly I did want to do something crazy and different. Or maybe it's the fact that I am so tired of always having hair drama, so I embraced the fact I am a short haired girl. I know it wasn't an easy transition. So if you're thinking of chopping it all off, these are some of things I've learned in my short hair journey.

1. I actually feel sexier. I have to say, I totally didn't expect that. I more confident than ever before.
2. Time are changing. It seems like everywhere I look, short, even grey hair, is popular.
3. I am saving on shampoo and conditioner. And guess what? I don't have to pay for an updo at my friend's wedding.
4. Save my time. Blow drying takes literally 30 seconds. No more half an hour straightening session.
5. My hair does not get stuck in my bag strap anymore! No more hair drama!
6. My face looks slimmer!
7. I started caring more about my appearance.

Now, I feel my hair defines me. People have seemed to genuinely like my haircut and I am happy that all of my friends like it, but I don't really care. There's nothing more attractive than someone who is happy with herself. Own your hair. Whether you're chopping it off, or growing it out. Here's to being brave and loving ourselves, no matter what our choices are.
