NEW YORK TRAVEL DIARY #3

Manhattan, KS, USA

Taking you back to March when I had the time of my life in New York. Sorry for the never ending blogposts about New York but you know what they say, better late than never. I've   never been to New York before, so I was thrilled to wander around town. Can’t believe six months have passed since I came back from New York. Here are some of the photos I’ve taken with my phone throughout my trip.

The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is one of the places that I must visit in New York. It is located in Midtown Manhattan. I was so excited to explore the museum and capture every art pieces that I thought was beautiful.

After spending my morning at MoMA, it was time for brunch. When I saw this Epistrophy restaurant, I didn't even hesitate on not going in. Epistrophy is a rare Italian restaurant. The environment of the restaurant is very homey and cosy. I ordered Eggs with Zucchini Fritters layered with avocado smash, sunny side up egg and herbed yogurt sauce. Definitely walked out of the restaurant with a happy tummy :D

I’m happy that my friend, Henry, took me to The High Line - NYC’s most unique park. At the park, you can enjoy the great view of Manhattan, various food vendors and guess what I saw? The Sleepwalker sculpture created by artist Tony Matelli.

Central Park is a place that I definitely wanted to visit when I was in New York. It’s one of the New York tourist attractions that locals love too, and it is the heart and soul of the city. The park includes meadows, forests, lakes, monuments and spectacular architectures.

There are so many things to do in Central Park. If you ask me which is my favorite spot in Central Park? It will be the Sheep Meadow. I would love to have a picnic there and soak up in the sun, like what the locals do.

Lastly, Time Square is a one of the places you have to go to whilst in New York.Well what can I say? It is a cool place to walk around and chill. The lights, the people, street vendors and entertainment are all at this place. I really enjoyed the street performance. If you love crowds and lights then this is the place to be. I’m always fascinated by the energy and the bright lights.

That's it. Hope you guys enjoy reading it.
Stay tuned for the next travel post.

xoxo
